This dog recipe is not only delicious, but also a fun meal to make for your pet. Not to mention, that this is perfect for picky pups. You can mix all the healthy ingredients, and it’s guaranteed that your pup will eat them all. It only takes a few basic ingredients, and very little preparation time.
- 500g ground beef
- 2 cups of oat bran
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 4 carrots, boiled/steamed and mashed
- rice, coconut or any other alternative flour
- 2 courgettes (interchangeable with any vegetable your pups enjoys)
Preheat the oven. Put all the ingredients in a large ball and mix them well together. If you think it is too soft or hard to shape them into balls, add more ingredients (oats or pumpkin puree). If they are the right consistency, roll them into balls and coat the surface in flour lightly. When ready, place them on a baking tray (covered with baking sheet) and bake it for 25-40 minutes. Baking time will depend on the size of the meatballs. I usually bake them for 35 min. The portion I usually make will be enough for my girls for two servings with some more veggies. I have a Frenchie and an English bulldog and they think it’s delicious. Hope your pup will enjoy this amazing dog recipe a lot.
